I think Dell's docking station is the same one, just rebranded for Dell - as Dell used to sell Targus. Then they intermittently started not to push video (not related to the DisplayLink updates), some of the usb ports didn't work, there was a lag time on some peoples computer. With two display out ports, seemed like a no-brainer to me.

Cons: I have a lot of these throughout my office that we purchased on our last upgrade for laptops. I've not had much luck ordering Microsoft's dock so I picked up the Targus Universal USB 3.0 Docking Station at Best Buy.
